Unlike therapy, coaching aims to assist with general self-development, achieving personal goals, and with issues that do not necessarily involve distress.
Among the common areas addressed in coaching are motivation, making a life choice, setting and pursuing of personal goals, and improving interpersonal skills. Unlike therapy, coaching can be more directive in style. However, as with therapy, we tailor and adjust our approach and model to individual’s needs.
